Nacim R. Tehrani

Nacim joined Pendaran, Inc. with a resourceful background and strong records of success in the competitive arena of design. Her solid education and effective work experience in Iran provided all the academic motivation and artistic inspiration that so far have paved the path for her long journey in this profession. She uses her many artistic and organizational skills to provide Pendaran and its clients with original graphic design, marketing materials and a creative approach to product delivery and development.

In 1994, while still in high school, she won second prize in a toy design national competition. A year later, she was invited by a group of professional designers to participate in a series of workshops aiming to create stop-motion animation; followed by her first experience in designing characters for movies.

Nacim holds a bachelors degree from the University of Alzahra and a graduate degree from the University of Tehran, both in Industrial Design. Her graduate thesis was on public furniture and urban design. She also holds a Post Baccalaureate degree in Fine Arts – ceramics and sculpture from the University of North Florida.

Nacim has worked successfully in several professional design areas. The list of responsibilities she has so far assumed and fulfilled to satisfaction of clients includes 3D character designer for stop-motion animation, industrial designer, graphic designer, researcher for environmental, architectural and industrial design firms, interior designer, illustrator and scale-modeling instructor.
